Our Charity Concerts

Twice a year, once in spring and once at Christmas, charity concerts take place in the chapel of the WHU, which have now become an integral part of the aid projects of the association WHU Students help e.V.

The concerts are organized and designed by WHU students. In addition to them, WHU employees also participate in the implementation, so that viewers can always look forward to a varied, varied and high-quality program. The proceeds from the benefit concerts will be used to fund local institutions in Vallendar and the surrounding area as well as selected projects abroad.

In cooperation with the Lauftreff in Weitersburg, WHU Studenten Helfen e.V. will organize a donation run with WHU participation for the first time in history on September 12, 2020.

Whether Bambini run, 2Km run, 5Km run or even half marathon – there is a suitable route for everyone. With the donations that we generate from the income from entry fees and sales, we will support a prevention project against sexual violence against children together with the Child Protection Association.

Vallendar Christmas Market

WHUSH was again represented with its own Christmas market stand at the annual Christmas market in Vallendar.

In addition to sausage and cotton candy stands, students sold pretzels and poured hot mulled wine. All proceeds are to be donated to the children’s hospital in Koblenz. This year’s stand was a complete success for the organizers. WHUSH wants to participate in the Vallendar Christmas magic again next year. In particular, we would like to thank all WHU students who have volunteered and thank Mrs. Fotini for the active support.

As in the previous year, WHUSH once again organized an evening for a good cause.

Together with the Koblenz based club “Die Zwei“ we were able to collect EUR 1191.00 for those affected by forest fires in Australia in one evening. The money was donated to the Red Cross and was used for emergency relief for victims. We would like to thank everyone who appeared and the team of  “Die Zwei“
